Overview

Planning a trip to Turkey from the UAE? For most UAE residents, a Turkey tourist visa is a sticker visa placed in your passport after an in-person appointment at the Turkish visa application centre in Dubai. We book that appointment for you, prepare your full file — including the hotel and flight reservations your application needs — and follow up until your passport is ready.

Your exact route depends on your passport nationality, not just your UAE residence: UAE (Emirati) passport holders travel visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period; residents who also hold a valid US, UK, Schengen or Ireland visa or residence may qualify for the online Turkey e-Visa; everyone else applies for the consular sticker visa, which is exactly the service we handle from Dubai.

Apply now through WhatsApp or by filling in the form below, and our Dubai team will confirm your route, fees and documents.

Which visa

Which Turkey Visa Do You Need?

Your route depends on your passport. Not sure which applies to you? Send us your nationality and we’ll confirm it in minutes.

Consular sticker visa

Most UAE residents

Applied in person at the Dubai visa application centre. We book the appointment, prepare your file and the required hotel + flight reservations, and follow up — usually 7–10 working days.

Turkey e-Visa

If eligible

Available online only if you also hold a valid US, UK, Schengen or Ireland visa or residence (and an e-Visa-eligible nationality). Usually issued within 24–48 hours.

Emirati passport holders

Visa-free

UAE nationals enter Turkey visa-free for tourism, up to 90 days within any 180-day period — no application needed.

Requirements

Turkey Tourist Visa Requirements & Conditions

The main conditions for the Turkey tourist (sticker) visa from the UAE — send these and we handle the appointment and the file:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months from your entry date, with at least 2 blank pages.
  • A valid UAE residence visa (ideally valid 6+ months) and your Emirates ID.
  • An in-person appointment at the Dubai visa application centre — we book it for you.
  • Proof of funds for your trip — a stamped bank statement for the last 3 months.
  • A confirmed return flight reservation and hotel booking covering your stay (we can prepare these for you).
  • Travel/health insurance covering the full duration of your stay in Turkey.

Documents

Required Documents for the Turkey Visa

Prepare the following documents — clear scans or photos are fine, and our team checks everything before your appointment:

  • Passport + residence: a copy of your passport (valid 6+ months) and your UAE residence (valid 6+ months), with any Turkey entry/exit stamps if you have travelled there before.
  • Emirates ID: a copy of both the front and back.
  • Personal photo: a recent photo taken within the last 6 months, 5×6 cm, on a white background.
  • Tenancy contract: a copy of your home tenancy (Ejari) contract.
  • Salary certificate: from your sponsor, written in English and addressed to the Turkish Consulate.
  • Sponsor’s no-objection letter: plus a copy of the trade licence if your sponsor is yourself or a family member.
  • Family no-objection letter: from the head of the family to each dependent, separately (for dependents).
  • Bank statement: the last 3 months, stamped by your bank.
  • Return flight + hotel: a confirmed round-trip reservation and a hotel booking for your stay — we prepare these as part of our service.
  • Travel insurance: a policy covering the full duration of your stay.

Tips

How to Improve Your Chances of a Turkey Visa Approval

The Turkish Consulate makes the final decision, but a strong, complete file makes approval far more likely. Keep these points in mind:

  • Apply at the right time: about 2–3 weeks before travel — not months ahead and not at the last minute — with firm dates that fall within the visa validity.
  • Match every detail: your name spelling, passport number and dates must match your passport exactly; small typos are the single most common cause of rejection.
  • Show sufficient, stable funds: a stamped 3-month bank statement with a reasonable balance for your trip.
  • Prove your plan: confirmed return flights, a hotel booking for the whole stay, and valid travel insurance.
  • Show ties to the UAE: a salary certificate, employer no-objection letter and tenancy (Ejari) help demonstrate you will return.
  • Keep a clean record: previous overstays or violations in Turkey or elsewhere weaken your application.

Our Dubai team reviews your whole file against these points before your appointment, so nothing is missing on the day.

Rejection

Common Reasons for Turkey Visa Rejection

Understanding why Turkey tourist visas get refused helps you avoid the same mistakes. The most common reasons are:

  • Incomplete or inaccurate documents: missing hotel bookings, return tickets or insurance, or data that does not match the passport.
  • Insufficient funds: a bank statement that does not show enough money to cover the trip.
  • Weak travel intent or weak home-country ties: a vague itinerary or little evidence that you will return.
  • Missing travel insurance: where cover for the stay is expected.
  • Passport problems: not valid long enough beyond the visa, or too few blank pages.
  • Security or immigration flags: prior overstays, violations, or an existing entry ban to Turkey or the Schengen area.
  • Wrong route or timing: seeking an e-Visa without the qualifying US/UK/Schengen/Ireland visa, or applying with no firm dates.

If an application is refused, the notice explains why; we help you correct the issues and reapply.

FAQ

Turkey Tourist Visa — Frequently Asked Questions

Do UAE citizens need a Turkey tourist visa?
No. Emirati passport holders travel to Turkey visa-free for tourism, up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
Do UAE expat residents need a visa for Turkey?
In most cases, yes. It depends on your passport nationality — you will need either an e-Visa (if eligible) or a consular sticker visa. A UAE residence visa alone does not make you e-Visa eligible.
Who can use the Turkey e-Visa?
Only travellers who also hold a valid USA, UK, Schengen or Ireland visa or residence (and an e-Visa-eligible nationality). Everyone else applies for the consular sticker visa, which we handle from Dubai.
How long does the Turkey visa take?
The consular sticker visa usually takes about 7–10 working days, so we recommend applying 2–3 weeks before travel. The e-Visa, where eligible, is usually issued within 24–48 hours.
How long can I stay in Turkey?
Tourist visas commonly allow up to 90 days within a 180-day period (some nationalities are limited to 30 days per entry). Always check the exact stay printed on your visa, which can differ from the validity period.
What passport validity is required?
At least 6 months beyond your entry date, with at least 2 blank pages for the sticker visa.
How much does your Turkey visa service cost?
Our appointment-booking fee is 500 AED per traveller and includes preparing the hotel and flight reservations your file needs. A further 500 AED is paid at the Dubai visa centre on your interview day, and the official Turkish consular fee is paid at the centre and varies by nationality (some nationalities are exempt). We confirm your exact total before you pay.
Can I work in Turkey on a tourist visa?
No. A tourist visa is for tourism and short visits only; working requires a separate work visa and permit.
Does every traveller, including children, need a visa?
Yes. Every traveller needs their own application and appointment, including children, unless they hold a passport that is exempt.
